I wanted to contribute to ending this new wave of hate especially towards colour. However, I wanted to do it without promoting hate or violence because I feel that defeats the purpose of ending those things.

The coincidence about being offered a chance to speak out against hate is that it happened right after I made a thread asking people how to go about addressing how people of colour got treated in the Victorian Age in the most sensitive way possible. And this is not really a secret because you can kind of tell by obvious skin tone difference, Lucy Harris (the pink one) is in fact half black. It's not a spoiler. It's a fact. Another fun fact is that I considered making Poole black too.

Being different visually or within is natural. It is not an invitation to hate. It is something that is all part of our own humanity. Life is too short to hate especially over things that don't make any sense. And truth be told, the most surprising thing you can learn from those who are different from you is how much they have in common with you.

So peace be with you.
