I mean no offence to the lifestyle, but I find this is a common issue with it. You can't demand for someone to accept what you are not accept what they are. And sometimes, acceptance means accepting what you just can't ask of someone. And quite frankly, if someone is that important to you, you have yourself what is most important to you in general. Everything has a price. Are you really a polyamorist or are you just afraid to commit? Or do you like the power trip of having lots of people fall at your feet? Or are you addicted to affection and making out?

True point. Hyde shouldn't expect Lucy or anyone else who's clearly monogamous to commit to an open relationship.

It's like I told Christian, I see this happen too often. Acceptance is a two way street and sometimes, it means accepting that you can't have it all.

Jekyll has a good point. It's better Hyde forgets her because she didn't fit his "relationship model". Both would be miserable forcing themselves to it.
