Pretty difficult decision. I'm sure other teachers will empathize with him.

Teaching is such an underrated profession I find especially when it comes to situations like university vs elementary. It is not an easy job and I know that as much as I love kids, I wouldn't have the patience to do it.

If it were up to me the more skilled and experienced the professor, the younger the kids he/she'd get to teach. The younger the age, the tougher the job and the more demanding it is. That aside, he should consider his income too.

Personally, I see your point. By the way, you posted twice. Let me fix that ;)

Wow... He obviously loves both jobs and can probably do them well. This is really a tough decision.

It's tough in terms of many things. What which each do for him in the long run? Jekyll is a scientist so working at a university would get him a farther, but working with children brings him a lot of joy. I mean, Jekyll is dad material after all hence wanting to get married and being charged with watching his niece and nephew. It's a tough decision between joy and opportunity.
