That's enough now...
by MK_Wizard

In terms of comic listings that is.

Sorry if my title scared you. I think I did all I could to get my book out there and after some thought, I decided to keep my series as a mostly free to read webcomic. Of course, remasters and the best versions with no interruptions will be for purchase later on. And though it doesn't seem like it, I do have quite a bit of filler and I near the end of at least this arc. I am very happy that all around, I've got quite a few subscribers (which I count in the places beyond Comic Fury as all supporters count) though I am hoping that maybe just maybe I can start making some small change with it too. Hey, it covers my hair appointments or grocery bills.

However, the deal I made with my better half was that I would not go into debt for this comic which I think is not only fair, but also smart. While making a comic series has always been my lifelong dream, it's not my only one. I do want to do other stuff with my life too like travel, watch plays, get in shape and so on. Like Stephen King said, real life inspires fantasy. He was right. Anyway, I digress. I have been making use of free options and honestly, it's been more than good enough. Though someday, I do hope to have a cubicle at a Comic Con one day. Will it happen? Let's see.

The Wizard is open for business!
by MK_Wizard

Or starting to rather.

After a lot of contemplation, speaking, information gathering and second opinions, I decided to go with starting a Patreon. That's right folks. I've joined the "P-force". I decided that rather than going with publishers, I want to keep my book, my benefits and my beloved fans as my own. What can I say? I'm monogamist when it comes to what I love. When I fall in love, it's completely and I don't want to give it up. With that said, I don't want to give up all those who supported me. That means I've decided to stay a webcomic writer. And I'm cool wtih that. Heck, I'm absolutly over the moon with that. This is my hobby job after all and we live in the age of the web so being a webcomic writer works out for the best for my lifestyle.

Of course, I'm starting at the bottom with just basic stuff now, but I will work my way up to bigger things with time. For now, I want to pace myself and you guys when you're ready just like I didn't do anything until I was ready.

Love as always and I look forward to doing business with you all,

Cleaning up is hard to do
by MK_Wizard

I am getting the first half of my book ready by doing cleanup work on the first four acts and it ain't easy. I suppose that's to be expected when you're trying to do something right and make it decent for selling. I want to make sure that it's perfect so that anyone who buys it gets their money's worth. The only catch is that the cleaned up version is for sale only. It will not and never will be available on the web for free. Sorry. I can't give everything away for free. Art supplies cost money. I have narrowed it down to three places to do publishing and sales with. Patreon, Blurb and Zulu.

Let's see how it all boils down.

Cold season
by MK_Wizard

The not so fun part about fall. When it because, so do sniffles, coughs and such. I am nursing my own one right now. I'll live, but it is a pain in the neck or in my specific case, a pain in the ear. Watch out for bugs and if you already have one, drink lots of tea.
